Halving Litecoin

As part of the Litecoin coin issue, miners receive a certain amount of LTC every time a block is made (approximately every 2.5 minutes).

When Litecoin first started its work, 50 litecoins per block were given to manners as a reward. After every 840,000 blocks are mined (approximately every 4 years), the block reward is halved and will be halved until the block reward is 0 (approximately by the year 2142).

At the moment, the block reward is 12.5 coins per block and will decrease to 6.25 coins per block after halving.
