Cointiply - A legitimate way to earn from a crypto faucet or a waste of time?
Cointiply is one of the largest cryptocurrency faucets, allowing you to earn crypto by completing simple online tasks.
Most crypto faucets make you click for hours just to earn cents that you can’t even withdraw. Survey tasks are also disappointing: instead of the promised rewards, you get pitiful coins. In this guide, you’ll learn the real situation with this faucet, as well as an honest look at user reviews and the withdrawal system.
Let’s start with the easiest earning methods.
The Prize Wheel
On the right side of the site, there’s a prize wheel. It gives coins or bonuses.
You get 3 free spins per day. This depends on your level. Your level increases over time, and leveling up gives you more free spins (up to 500–1000) and percentage bonuses, making tasks more profitable.
Spin the wheel, complete the captcha, and get a random reward:
- often – coins (5, 10, 30, 100),
- less often – 10% XP boost, a diamond (+20% to task rewards for 24 hours),
- very rarely – 50, 500, 5000 (chance ~1 in 1–10 million) or 20,000–25,000 coins.
How many internal coins do you need?
On Cointiply, the internal points are called Coins and have a fixed peg to the US dollar:
- 10,000 coins = $1
- 1,000 coins = $0.10
- 100 coins = $0.01.
Coins are exchanged for cryptocurrency at the market rate, with a minimum withdrawal amount of 50,000 coins. We’ll test the withdrawal system below.
By the way, we reviewed the top 10 other crypto faucets in a separate guide.
Mystery Box
Now the Mystery Box. They claim you can win up to $1,000 instantly, with rewards bigger than the wheel. The box is also on the right.
We spun and got only 25 coins, then a second box opened and gave us a +50% XP boost for 24 hours – we’ve never gotten that before, the chance is pretty low.
To use this boost quickly, complete tasks.
Levels and Ranks
You can check your levels in the Account - Overview tab. There you’ll see Level Rewards – rewards based on your level.
We are currently level 30 (rank Collector). This level gives:
- 3 wheel spins per day,
- 3 Mystery Boxes per week,
- and a 10% boost on all rewards.
From level zero to nine – only one spin per day and one box per week.
Levels have the following features:
Staker– gives 2 spins and 2 boxes per week, plus a 5% boost.Whale(level 50) – 5 spins and 5 boxes per week, 15% boost.Cryptolord(level 100) – 7 spins and 7 boxes per week, 20% boost.
We need 290 more points to reach the next level – you get one point for every 10 coins earned. Coins can be earned via the wheel, boxes, watching ads, and other methods.
‘Watch Ads’ Task
The easiest method – go to the PTC Ads tab, watch ads and earn coins. The ads refresh at 00:00 UTC, it’s best to do them right away because each ad has a limited number of views.
Click View, wait a few seconds, sometimes the site might be unavailable – that’s fine, just wait.
Then there’s a small “not a robot” check (pick the fish, paint, drumstick, etc.).
After viewing all available ads, refresh the page – some tasks may disappear due to the limit. You can check back several times a day to see if new ones appear.
Daily Bonuses and Missions
There’s also a daily streak system (Daily streak). You need to earn at least 300 coins per day to get the bonus.
The progress bar shows how many points you’ve earned.
In the example, 69% of 300 – we need about 90–95 more coins to reach the next level. Where to get them quickly? We’ve accumulated unclaimed missions.
Go to the Missions section – there are various tasks: activate daily free coins, watch PTC ads, watch 20 ads, earn 1,000, 3,000, 5,000 coins, and so on.
Bonuses are often not credited automatically. To get the reward, you must go to the quests section and manually click the Claim button after meeting the conditions.
Games, Apps, and Surveys
The majority of coins can be earned in the Earn - Games and offers section. There you install apps and games. For example, completing all levels in one game (30 days) can give 549,000 coins, another – 29,000, 63,000, 115,000, even 2 million coins.
There’s also the Service tab – surveys. For instance, a 15-minute survey gives 13,000 coins, a 4-minute survey gives nearly 3,000 coins.
If you have a diamond boost from your level or from a box, be sure to do surveys or game tasks – they give a lot of points.
Referral Program and Competition
Another method is the referral program Share and Earn. You get 25% of your referrals’ earnings and participate in a monthly competition: points (given when your referral levels up) are rewarded with prizes - $100, $40, and $20.
We have 50 invited, 13 of them active.
Coins can be exchanged for cryptocurrency with growth potential.
How to Withdraw Funds?
To withdraw funds, click Start Withdraw. Minimum withdrawal: 50,000 internal coins for Bitcoin, 30,000 coins (Dash, Doge, and Litecoin).
To withdraw, select the coin, enter the withdrawal address, and input your account password.
Then you need to confirm the withdrawal via email.
Payout takes 24 to 48 hours.
Passive Income (5% APY)
If you hold more than 35,000 coins on your balance (that’s $3.50), you earn 5% per year. Interest is not paid once a year but weekly, and it is added to your main balance – compound interest.
In our case, 427 coins were credited completely passively. To enable this feature, go to your account settings (Settings), find the slider Your account will earn 5% interest when you have more than 35,000 Coins. Interest is paid weekly. Turn it on and save changes.
Now you earn not only from tasks but also passively. For example, if you save up a million coins – each week will bring thousands of coins with no effort at all.
But is everything so easy and great? Let’s look at the downsides of the service.
What are the Disadvantages and Risks?
Any service should be considered not only in terms of advantages. I, Maxim Anisimov, an experienced editor, understand that the disadvantages are sometimes much more important. Especially regarding time and effort spent. Therefore, all the drawbacks of this service are collected in the table below.
|
Risk Category |
Core Problem / Examples |
|
Account Bans and Withdrawal Issues |
• First withdrawal can be delayed up to 45 days. |
|
Toxic Moderation and Chat |
• Aggressive moderation (ban for posting promo codes or asking questions). |
|
Waste of Time |
• Surveys: disqualification after 30 minutes, consolation bonus as low as ~$0.05. |
|
Technical and Financial Risks |
• Holding funds on balance (5% APY) – risk of losing all capital if the site shuts down. |
The bottom line is that Cointiply is only pocket money, not a source of income.
Withdraw your funds as soon as you reach the minimum threshold ($3–5) to avoid risk.
Final Thoughts
On Cointiply.com, you can earn by installing and playing games (e.g., reaching level 25 pays 33,000 coins), daily roll (10 coins), and watching ads (176 coins). The minimum withdrawal amount is 30,000 coins, which equals $3, and payouts go to Bitcoin, Doge, Dash, and LTC wallets.
A few tips for working with the service:
- Always open Mystery Boxes and spin the wheel at the very beginning of your session, not at the end. They can give a temporary boost (from 20% to 50%) for surveys and tasks. If you do tasks first and then open a box with a bonus, you lose the benefit.
- It’s best not to hoard large amounts, but withdraw funds immediately when you reach the minimum threshold ($3–5).
- The first payout almost always gets a 45-day hold under the pretext of account protection. This is a verification period during which support may ignore tickets until the user leaves a public review.
- The Whale level in practice is not just a title but access to 5 free spins and boxes per day. This significantly speeds up coin accumulation compared to the starting Huddler level (1 spin).
The referral program gives a commission: about 169 points from one active referral.
Disadvantages include low pay for most actions and the presence of a play the multiplier feature that creates a risk of losing funds.
Overall, the platform does NOT provide a living income and contains risks due to the multiplier feature. Real earnings are extremely low.
That’s everything you need to know about Cointiply. Yours, Editor - Maxim Anisimov for bytwork.com.
