Bitmain Antminer E9: 3 GH/s (Ethereum), 2556 Вт
Bitmain Antminer E9: characteristics, hashrate
Bitmain has unveiled its new Bitcoin Antminer E9 ASIC miner, which is designed for mining the Ethereum cryptocurrency. Hashrate is 3 GH/s.
If we compare Antminer E9 with video cards, it will be equal to 32 RTX 3080 video cards, or 25 3090 in terms of performance.
Antminer E9 is able to replace 25 GeForce RTX 3090 video cards (each has a hashrate of 120 MH/s), 32 GeForce RTX 3080 (94 MH/s) or 115 specialized 30 HX mining from Nvidia (26 MH/s).
#AntminerE9 #Ethereum miner! Equivalent to 32 3080 graphics cards, Equipped with a hash rate of 3 GH/s, power efficiency of 0.85 J/M, and power consumption of 2556W. Officially launching soon! #Bitmain #Antminer #ETH https://t.co/NgjsDpAtUa pic.twitter.com/EXIQWgt5iR

The miner requires 2256 watts of electricity (0.85 W/m). Revenue from one Antminer E9 miner, excluding electricity costs, will be about $310 per day. If we calculate them at the rate of $ 0.13 per kWh, then the amount will be more modest — $236 per day.
Bitmain Antminer E9 competitors
There are other competitors in the ETH Asics market, namely Innosilicon and Linzhi.
The ETH miner from Innosilicon - Innosilicon A11 will presumably provide a hashrate on the Ethash algorithm of 2100 MH/s with a power consumption of only 2300 watts, while Linzhi and their Linzhi Phoenix ETH miner can presumably provide a hashrate of 2600 MH/s for Ethash with a power consumption of 3000-3500W.
Thus, Bitmain will perform better in terms of performance and with a lower hashrate if the specifications of their AntMiner E9 ETH miner turn out to be as promised.
